A lovely addition to the Zygopetalum intergeneric family with that stunning blue-on-white contrast in the flowers. Fee flowers on maturing new growths. These are flowering size plants in 4” pots. Photo #1 shows the flowers of this selection; Photo #2 shows an example of the size plant offered for sale. Fragrant.
In the hot Central Florida area, we grow these in our “Phalaenopsis House” under low, filtered light (800-1,200 foot-candles). They do like to be kept slightly moist at all times, so if they are growing in bark, we water them every 1-2 days! They will also grow well planted in sphagnum moss with less frequent watering. In cooler climates, they can be grown in medium, filtered light (1,500-2,000 foot-candles).
