Tolumnia triquetra

$25.00

Seedlings (grown from seed).

This charming species is endemic to the island of Jamaica and is found growing epiphytically (on trees) in lower light and higher humidity than many other Tolumnia species. It is one of the two most prevalent species in the background of many Tolumnia hybrids. These are young, flowering size plants that have been mounted to tree fern rafts. Photo #1 shows the flowers of this species. Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale.

We grow these hanging in our “Cattleya house” where they get medium filtered light (1,500-2,000 foot-candles) and are watered when the mount dries.  These are best grown mounted.

PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR SHIPPING POLICY (ESPECIALLY AS IT RELATES TO COLD WEATHER) BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR ORDER.
