Myc. Keith Goldson
(Mcp. tibicinis x C. Mem. Thomas Fennell)
Seedlings (grown from seed).
A hybrid originally made by Claude Hamilton of Hamlyn Orchids. This is a sibling cross he made using two of his select plants. One of the most sought after Myrmecophila/Schomburgkia hybrids he’s made. These are young plants in 2” pots that are 2-3 years from flowering size. Photo #1 shows a collage of select clones, highlighting the diverse color forms of this hybrid. Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale. Please note that these are seedlings and that there can be quite a bit of variability between plants (even with the same parents).
We grow these in our “Cattleya house” where they get medium to bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot-candles) and are watered when the media dries. These may be grown in pots/baskets or mounted. Mature plants can be acclimatized to grow in full sun!
PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR SHIPPING POLICY (ESPECIALLY AS IT RELATES TO COLD WEATHER) BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR ORDER.
