More commonly know as Howeara Lava Burst, this is a true oldie but goodie. Warm growing Oncidium intergeneric that became very popular in the 90’s for it’s compact growth that can produces many spikes bearing numerous eye-catching red flowers. These are flowering size plants in 4” pots.
Photo #1 shows the flowers of this mericlone. Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale.
We grow these in the brightest area of our “Phalaenopsis House” under low filtered light (1,200-1,400 fc), and water just as the media starts to dry (keep media moist).
