Guarianthe skinneri (fma tipo 2n x fma oculata ‘Debbie’ 4n FCC/AOS)

Seedlings (grown from seed)
A vigorous-growing, and highly floriferous, Spring-flowering species from Mexico through Costa Rica. This highly sought after species is the national flower of Costa Rica! These are robust-growing, near flowering size plants in 3” pots (plants are ready to move up to larger pots, some of these should flower next year). Flowers are lightly fragrant.
We expect mostly typically colored flowers, but also hope to find a few delicata (light pink) types from this grex.
Photo #’s 1 & 2 show examples of the color forms of the parent plants (not the actual parents used in this grex) respectively. Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale.
Please note that these are seedlings and that there can be quite a bit of variability between plants with regards to plant vigor and flower color, shape and size (even with the same parents).
We grow these in our “Cattleya house” where they get medium to bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot-candles) and are watered when the media dries. These may be grown in pots/baskets or mounted.
PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR SHIPPING POLICY (ESPECIALLY AS IT RELATES TO COLD WEATHER) BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR ORDER.
