Seedlings (grown from seed). H&R Orchids, in Hawaii, originally made this hybrid in 2000; this is their own remake. Famous for producing plants whose flowers tend to open more orange, then turn more yellow as they age. These are near flowering size plants in 2” pots (some will flower this year, most will start flowering next year). Photo #’s 1-2 show a couple examples of flowers from a previous grex. Photo #3 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale. Please note that these are seedlings and that there can be quite a bit of variability between plants (even with the same parents).
Also offered here as a 3-pack option.
We grow these in our “Cattleya house” where they get medium to bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot-candles) and are watered when the media dries. These may be grown in pots/baskets or mounted.
