Btv. Red Thompson
(Grt. Why Not ‘Roundabout’ AM/AOS x B. nodosa)
Seedlings (grown from seed).
Remake by Claude Hamilton of Hamlyn Orchids using the superior ‘Roundabout’ clone of Grt. Why Not. These will produce flowers in hues from yellow to red with some flowers even exhibiting varying degrees of spotting. These should be vigorous growers that will flower several times per year, once mature. These are young but near flowering size plants in 2” pots (in fact we have flowered several already in this size pot)! Photo #1 shows an example of what the flowers of this hybrid could look like. Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale. Please note that these are seedlings and we do expect a lot of variation between these siblings (even though they have the same parents).
We are offering these as both a single plant purchase and also a discounted “3-pack” option.
We grow these in our Cattleya house where they get medium to bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 fc) and are watered when the media dries. May be grown in pots/baskets or mounted.
PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR SHIPPING POLICY BEFORE FINALIZING ORDER.
