Seedlings (grown from seed).

Lovely species from the Comoros Islands that can make stunning, compact specimen plants that flower in late Winter to early Spring. These warm-growing, epiphytic miniatures produce pendant inflorescences with many tiny yellow-orange to orange flowers that are faintly fragrant. These are flowering size plants mounted on tree fern slabs.

Photo #1 shows what the flowers of this species look like. Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale.

We grow these in the brightest area of our “Phalaenopsis House” where they get low-medium filtered light (1,000-2,000 foot-candles) and are watered when the media dries.  These are best grown mounted.

PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR SHIPPING POLICY (ESPECIALLY AS IT RELATES TO COLD WEATHER) BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR ORDER.
