Grt. Why Not fma aurea

from $20.00

('Makana Ke Akua' 4n x self)

Seedlings (grown from seed).

This is our own selfing of this very select plant. Vigorous growing seedlings from a selfing of a 4n selection. These should be 4n also, making them potentially very useful tools in future breeding efforts. These are young, but flowering size, seedlings in 2” & 3” pots (some have already started to flower)! Highly sought after and very rare color form of perhaps the most popular Broughtonia hybrid, ever. We are also offering a discounted 3-pack of this product for those of us who enjoy flowering out several plants from a particular hybrid.

Photo #1 shows what the flowers of this hybrid could look like; Photo #’s 2-3 show examples of the size plants in 2” pots and 3” pots respectively.

Please note that these are seedlings and that there can be quite a bit of variability between plants (even with the same parents).

We grow these in our “Cattleya house” where they get medium to bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot-candles) and are watered when the media dries.  These may be grown in pots/baskets or mounted.

PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR SHIPPING POLICY (ESPECIALLY AS IT RELATES TO COLD WEATHER) BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR ORDER.
