Grt. Why Not fma aurea
('Makana Ke Akua' 4n x self)
Seedlings (grown from seed).
This is our own selfing of this very select plant. Vigorous growing seedlings from a selfing of a 4n selection. These should be 4n also, making them potentially very useful tools in future breeding efforts. These are young seedlings in 2” pots that will be flowering size next year, 2026 (some have already started to flower)! Highly sought after and very rare color form of perhaps the most popular Broughtonia hybrid, ever. Photo #1 shows what the flowers of this hybrid could look like; Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale. We are also offering a discounted 3-pack of this product for those of us who enjoy flowering out several plants from a particular hybrid.
Please note that these are seedlings and that there can be quite a bit of variability between plants (even with the same parents).
We grow these in our “Cattleya house” where they get medium to bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot-candles) and are watered when the media dries. These may be grown in pots/baskets or mounted.
PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR SHIPPING POLICY (ESPECIALLY AS IT RELATES TO COLD WEATHER) BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR ORDER.
