Seedlings (grown from seed).
Wonderful new hybrid from Claude Hamilton of Hamlyn Orchids (Jamaica). These are near flowering size plants in 2” pots (some will flower this year, most will start flowering next year). We have flowered a handful of plants from this grex and all have been yellow, so far. Photo #’s 1-2 show a couple examples of flowers from a this grex. Photo #3 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale. Please note that these are seedlings and that there can be quite a bit of variability between plants (even with the same parents).
We grow these in our “Cattleya house” where they get medium to bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot-candles) and are watered when the media dries. These may be grown in pots/baskets or mounted.
