Broughtonia negrilensis

$25.00

Seedlings (grown from seed).

Not often seen species that is endemic to Jamaica from a relatively small locale that is under severe threat from development.  Very compact growing plants that can flower in the late Fall to Winter on relatively small plants.  These are flowering size plants in 3” pots. Photo #1 shows what the flowers of this species look like; Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale.

We grow these in our Cattleya house where they get bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 fc), and watered only once the media is completely dry.  These do best mounted!
